Being a huge fan of Dr Who - I wanted a nice clean image of the Torchwood Institute logo for my phone. Not being able to find one, I fired up Blender.
Ok - Why post a simple little non-original logo in Finished Projects? Because I wanted to demonstrate the awesome power of Composite Nodes…
The final image is pure blender - Nothing else has touched it!.
I used two scenes, one with a nice wide angle lens close up to the logo to get the groovy perspective, and a completely different scene with an orthographic camera for the rendered text.
Then into the nodes - Add a little blur to soften the logo and alpha over the whole thing and Bob’s your father’s brother.
Anyhoo - Looks good on my phone now! :rolleyes:
