I want to place two tubes with different diameters but with the same heights.
How can I do that ?
When I resize a tube (S key), not only the diameter change, but also the height.

When you press s and then x you scale only in the x direction. s and y in the y axis etc. So if you wish to scale the x, y plane and leave the z it requires two scaling operations.

by pressing the middle mouse button while moving or scaling things, you scale only on one axis
