I just wanted to share a project my creative studio recently completed for one of our clients. These were a set of large banners for a trade show. You can read a little write-up we did on why businesses should use 3D product rendering. However, below is the stuff that would probably be most interesting to this community:
Process
This entire project was completed using FOSS (free and open-source software) all the way through to print. Blender played a central role, and performed flawlessly.
Finished Results
The banners were designed to be contrasted with each other to illustrate the different strengths of the computer. There were originally going to be three, but the third got cut to reduce the cost of the project. Here are the two that were approved. The finished render size was 11100 x 25500 pixels.
