Traffic Light

Hello, guys! After a long break from Blender I decided to open it again. So, in my hometown being a pedestrian is probably the worst experience and crossing streets is a nightmare. Traffic lights here are terrible and only real professional runners can catch a proper green light. Inspired by this, I gave it a try to model a traffic light and animated it (sound on).

Overall, I enjoyed the process except for the result - not completely satisfied, but I decided to leave it as is. I’m happy with the modelling part, the UVs were a bit tricky but it was fun unwrapping this. I textured everything in Substance Painter. For the rain I used Baga Rain Generator plugin - really easy to use and setup.

Any feedback is more than welcome.

Looks pretty good. :+1:

Only feedback is that the raindrops seem too dark. They would probably be just as visible, and look more realistic if much lighter.

Of course, water reflects and (especially) refracts it’s environment, which would include a range of light & dark values (close-up anyway).
