I really love the mood in this image. The way the main lamp focuses us on to the image of the girl, which in itself is a lovely, mystical image, to the details that surround it once the eye explores. The whisky, the time of day, the book, the smashed lamp and painting, a noose??
All of this combines to bring a real story to the image. Fantastic.
the image is great and cool, and interesting, but for some reason (probably the composition or lighting or both) keeps me distracting doesn’t give my eyes a chance to rest so I feel like i have to look somewhere else for relief. But otherwise, this is really great.
