Translucent and transparent gradient?

Hello everyone,
I am trying to make partially translucent and transparent object. Does anyone know how to mix the the shaders and create a gradient? I’d like to make the bottom part translucent and the top part transparent


there is a mix shader node, use gradient node as the influence of it and there you go

i have these nodes already, in this case should I add another shader?

This should show the general flow of shading. There is no attempt in trying to handle shadows in a special way.

this is in Eevee,dont forget to change the blend mode to alpha hashed,in the material settings panel.
