Transparent material receiving shadows

Hello community.

Is there a way to create a transparent material in cycles that still receives all shadows (the ones cast by other objects, as well as the ones cast onto itself)?

I ask this because I want to have a partially textured object where the non-textured parts are supposed to be transparent but I still need all the shadows the entire object would receive with a normal diffuse material.

This is the rendered image so far. But I want to highlight certain areas with a texture and the rest to be transparent so that the paper background is visible.

This is my compoistion setup. Does someone have an idea?
