I started with the functionality first: The chamber opens, a rocket can be placed inside, then it closes and slides forward into the main pipe. When shooting, the chamber recoils. The trigger button was also based on the functionality, I am making this for VR so I kept the grip and button similar to the actual controller.
Also the whole front part rotates, so you can always place the rocket in the top chamber, close it, rotate, place the next one.

The general shape design?

The consistency of detail? I tried to keep the poly count low since it’s a game asset. Some parts are more blocky, other parts have more details. Is it still in a decent range?

The color scheme. Colors hurt the most, I love seeing great ones and even if I copy palettes, it somehow always comes out wrong.
