Hello to all, I just downloaded blender 2.42a a while ago, and have a good knowledge of the basics and all. So, I’ve modeled and textured this wolf and read a lot of tuts about animation, turns out I found in the wikibooks that the envelopes would be the best way to animate so I did it, and got a nice animation with an armature, all works fine, I can render the animation and all that. The thing is, I can’t make it work on the GE. I’ve been reading some similar issues here in the forum, but none got exactly where I wanted. I’ve made a lot of experiments, and I think I have to convert the envelopes to vertex groups in order to make it work. So, is there a way to do this directly? I read in the blender.org that by pressing the Wkey it would work, but instead when I’m on weight panting it resets the vertexes and clears the paint. Any suggestions?
Wkey should work. Do you have the bones selected in pose mode? If it’s not working, you should post a blend.
