I bought and tried out this product, a small portion of it: True Water and only tried out the material shader, no physics or other scripts.
First impression is it renders an interesting result with Cycles, but nothing like water in Eevee, images follow

Eevee :

Eevee with same settings, looks totally off (in both ice is turned off, though in Eevee it could be ice or something else that shows).
Quick testing, right out of the box!
Both Cycles and Eevee slow up significantly to render.

Edit :
The material works in Eevee too, but not being a ray tracer you have to adjust reflection cubemaps, irradiance volumes, etc. And a sphere (which forms a lens effect) is a very tricky geometry to interpret light for a non ray-tracer.
Following is a much simpler setup with a cubic “fishtank” shape

There are some issues where the water picks up reflections from the hdri under the floor of the room, but those can presumably be fixed with the right irrradiance / reflection settings…
