Trying to hang a bottle on a hook with a physics simulation

Hi everyone.

I am making this pirate character to animate on a boat bobbing around on the ocean. I am trying to get this bottle to hand on the hook so that when the boat moves the bottle sways on the hook due to the simulation. However the bottle either falls through the hook or glitches around before coming away from the hook.

I have tried setting the hook to a rigid body passive and the bottle to rigid body active and messed around with the sensitivity settings etc but nothing seems to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This uses a full simulation model, the alternative is to use a Point Constraint. This guy has other videos going over the various physics options.
