Trying to locate actor button

Hello,

Im new to Blender and am following through some tutorials, i am following this one at the moment.

I was fine untill i got to the section asking to click the actor button on the sohere, even the tutorial says the image is no longer accurate, could someone please point me in the right direction?

In Blender 2.49 it looks quite the same. In Blender 2.5 however, it’s a little harder. First make sure the Render Engine is set to Blender Game. Then go to Physics (the little bouncing ball icon). And then you’ll see an option Actor.

How can i ensure the Render Engine is set to Blender Game?

Look at the top of the blender window. It will say Blender Render, change to Blender Game from the drop down list.
