How’d you get those waves?

I used a 3d model of a waterfall. Later on in Photoshop i added some wave textures from photo material and drawed the white stuff foam and mist in. Adjusting the color and light after comparing to reference photos. This is what came out.
The boat was on the wrong place and wrong time indeed.
