I think that the only things more impressive than 3D renderings of incredible mechanisms like this … are the incredible physical mechanisms themselves. When someone actually creates a purely-mechanical contrivance as incredibly detailed as this, that will sit on your wrist and keep accurate time, I really am blown away.
Delicious detail. And, I would also observe, a really nice leather-strap texture also.

I see a lot of sharp edges on the gearweels in the viewport pictures.
