Tutorial: VFX with Blender, RIBMosaic, Pixie and Ramen

I’ve created a complete tutorial explaining the Blender->RIBMosaic->Pixie->Ramen VFX pipeline.

RIBMosaic is an IDE to connect Blender to Pixar Renderman®.
Pixie is a photorealistic Renderman renderer.
Ramen is a node compositor.

About Renderman:
Pixar’s RenderMan has been specifically engineered to meet the demanding challenges of rendering 3D animation and visual effects. This means RenderMan is fast, efficient, and able to handle an astonishing amount of geometric complexity along with offering cutting-edge effects.

Enjoy!! :RocknRoll:

Thanks! Fixed :stuck_out_tongue:

Good tutorial,
I only regret that you did not take more time to explain how you have used pixie ( for example the way you “manually” generate the material etc. Nice tutorial btw

WHOA!!! I’d never even heard of Pixie, and I’ve done TONS of vfx work with Blender. Sounds awesome, downloading now.
