Tutorials for help to use projection painting?

Hello Blenders!

Was wandering what tutorials would be good for a Blender novice to follow. Ive looked at a couple but do get lost a little and have yet to grasp the technique and follow it through.

Perhaps Projection Painting might not be what i need to know. But i am looking to put the orignal label on a drinks can blend i have done. Could it be that Projection Painting may not be the best method to use?

Thanks for that axelh92. The video tutorial looks really informative. Some of it is whooshing over my head at the mo. Will persevere though :slight_smile:
