tutorials for LEARNING RENDERING? (HELP!)

hello guys,
I am here to ask you for some tutorials on rendering with blender. I have had my first shot with blender.

I want to make it as a finished and good looking work with rendering, but since I am new to blender I am not use to the concept of rendering so, if anyone can help me out find that, Thanks in advance.

Go to link below and start learning about and using cycles render, rather than Blender render. There is a button at the top of your screen to switch to cycles. Secondly, start learning to use nodes for materials. Check out BlenderCookie online for many great tutorials.
