Two-Face

I wanted to attempt a photorealistic character project and for some reason landed on Two-Face (I don’t know why ).
This project was weird and fun and I think I learned a lot from the challenges that it presented.

The character’s high frequency detail was sculpted in Zbrush, the skin texture painted in Substance, and the post comp was done in Photoshop.
Everything else was done in Blender, and once again the Medusa Hair Nodes addon was used for some of the various hair grooms.

Halfway through the project I decided to influence the non-scarred half after the likeness of a hollywood actor (I think he would be a good choice for Two-Face in the movies).

Thanks, guys!

I can imagine Mads being a very sinister Two-Face. After watching Hannibal, I can really imagine him in the suit. Out of interest, what does it look like if you trim all the hair on the burn-side?

One way or another, Mads needs to play a Batman villain

Mads definitely has it in him to play an entertaining psycho .

Without hair the model’s scarred side has an awful looking uv seam and not much detail which is what prompted me to add frizzy hair to cover it up. Originally, my plan was to make the hair on the scarred side sparse, wispy and clumpy, but I got lazy, so instead of fixing the model I went with this hair design.

You can get an idea of the model without hair in the progress wip pic.

In any Batman movie, you didn’t want to play Batman – much too boring a part. No, you wanted to play a villain. And that comic strip always had the very best ones . . .

True that. Batman’s psychotic baddies are second to none!
