Ubuntu and my graphics card

Hi everyone!

I decided to make the jump and install Ubuntu on my desktop a few days ago. Everything seems to be running perfectly, except blender. The realtime 3d rendering in the viewports seem to be low quality, lower than when running blender on XP on the same computer. I figure it’s because I am using the default Ubuntu video drivers, and not the ones tailored to my graphics card. So i guess my question is, how does a complete Ubuntu noob go about installing video drivers? Here is what I have:

Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty
ATI All-in-Wonder 9600 (old, but it get’s the job done)

I’ve tried using envyng already, but none of the drivers it had were compatible. Any ideas?

Might be better to post this in the “Other Software” section. Seems people forget about that

oops sorry, I’ll repost. Thanks!
