I would like to replace my defect Marantz PM 78 Integrated Amplifier by a PM6005 with integrated DAC.
In the future I would like to attach the PM6005 via optical audio to a mini PC.
I also would like to connect a television set to the mini PC via HDMI (mainly for video).
Is this combination of optical audio and HDMI possible with Ubuntu?
