UDIM textures got pixelated?

Hey there!

I’ve been trying to use UDIMs. I created the texture set in 3DCoat, imported it and decided to overpaint it with texture painting in Blender. It looked really good yesterday when I saved and closed Blender - today though everything is pixelated :cry:
The UDIM tile size of the head is 1024x1024 - which might be too small? But then I don’t understand why it looked so high res yesterday. Help I don’t want to do it all again!! :frowning:

Okay I scaled the textures up with help of AI, that worked.
It still changes the smoothness slightly when closing and re-opening Blender. If anyone has a technical explanation for that, I would appreciate it if you shared it here.

I wonder if you had the image size settings different in Blender for some reason or somehow and so when you saved it, it scaled the image down.

Only way to know would be to go through the process again (can just be a basic test with different file names) but look at the image (with a image viewer) at each stage to see if/when it changes.
