Hi, I recently joined Blender Artists because I’m looking to hire Blender artists for paid freelance work.
I’ve already reached Trust Level 1 (Basic), but the Jobs → Paid Work category still appears as read-only for my account, so I’m unable to create a job post there.
This is a genuine paid, long-term freelance opportunity.
Could you please let me know if there is an additional requirement or waiting period before I can post in the Paid Work category?

I think the moderator made it so that you can’t post there right away to avoid spam, but if you reached TL1 it should work… Maybe there is an issue, I’m tagging @joseph , @thorn just in case…
Worse case, post in the general forum and someone will move it to the paid section !

To create a topic in paid work, you need to be Trust Level 2. This isn’t hard to do:
Get to trust level 2 by…
Visiting at least 15 days, not sequentially
Casting at least 1 like
Receiving at least 1 like
Replying to at least 3 different topics
Entering at least 20 topics
Reading at least 100 posts
Spend a total of 60 minutes reading posts
The reason for this is that we’ve had a literal onslaught of low quality AI generated job posts that are entirely scams.
For people to reply to a job post, they just need to be TL1
