Unable to Rig the avatar

Hi,

I exported the avatar from Marvelous designer(12.0) in A-pose as .fbx file.
Then i imported into Blender and encountered two issues.

  1. the shirt and trouser were two different meshes in Marvelous designer they merged as single mesh.

  2. In Blender i tried to add animation to the avatar, the mesh and armature were as separate objects. I tried to add the meshes to the armature by selecting all meshes and selected the Armature then ctrl k then “autmomatic weights” still its not working out.

Pls suggest where am making mistake

While importing with Armature Automatic Bone Orientation and selecting Shirt and Armature using Ctrl-P (!!) → Automatic Weights… i have no problems in Blender 3.3.1… so far:
