This is one of the scene from my short film called “Gratitude”
Here’s the 3D and VFX breakdown video
Water is simulated everything in LiquiGen software by @JangaFX. My short film some of them are rendered in Blender Cycles and some of them are rendered in EEVEE. Enhanced video upscaling with Topaz Video AI because some of render scenes are lower resolution.
This short film is about a young man ( me as an actor ) who was fishing, suddenly the fishing rod is pulled by something. Turns out it was a dolphin, but there’s something wrong, that dolphin is tangled. So that young man intended to help the dolphin until free.
Dude this is phenomenal. It’s hard to articulate the words. The level of near realism, the story itself, the animation, the music, and the aesthetic of the whole. I would love to see more of your process/behind-the-scenes.
Yes I will make a breakdown for that! Well, this result is in rush because of deadline competition, I hope I can do better details because my face is quite not right in some scenes because I have to Re-Light my green screen footage to match with the environment light and sunlight direction. But overall, thank you so much!
