Ungroup Nodes

Hello Everyone. I am trying to take apart a node group in my shader editor, but whenever I try to ungroup using Ctrl+Alt+G, The material gets screwed up, and oftentimes I see nothing. Is there a way that I can ungroup nodes without messing up the settings, i.e. keeping the settings that were present when the nodes were grouped? Thank you very much and any help would be appreciated.

Not an easy one click way I know of.

The problem is the parameters of the groups inputs (the ones that have nothing plugged in).

If you replace those parameters with external input values/colour etc you can then ungroup the node and it will have them.
