While I was working on another project, I finally understood how armatures work. So I took my unicorn and bent it into shape. C&C welcome.
The second Unicorn in the area around his neck looks not right…
(idk how to fix it…idk how to use bones)
i know… I have no idea how to fix it either. I reassigned the vertices but now it’s worse than before. Sigh.
Update: I finally found out how to create hair from vertex groups. Yay for tutorials.

How did you weight the bones? It looks like you have them all set to vertex groups with 100% strength, you need to have the bone weights overlap a little bit so that the transition from one bone to another will be smoother and more natural looking.
Good work though, and I like the model!
Thanks! I’ve never worked with weight, so I’m going to try it now.
Check this out for bone weighting: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Manual/Weight_Paint
MUCH easier than manual creating vertex groups.
Hm. Easier it may be but I find it to be very inaccurate. I’ll try again later. Thanks!
