Unicycle Fork Part

I am trying to model a unicycle the original part is below
olaması gerekn

My model is below

You probably see the problem, the fork part and the straight part is not combined as in the original model, how can I make like in the model ?

I want to make it using one single part , not combination of two part which I do already, with the straight part and fork part.

See attached file.

Topology needs some work but this should give you an idea of how to do it.

Basically i overlapped the two shapes to see where they intersect, i then used the knife tool to cut out the shape on the flat part where the round part will connect. I then joined the two object, i merged vertices so they fit and then i deleted loose vertices and internal geometry.

Basically a brute force method. Mirror modifier speeds up the work by only having to do one side and the subdivision surface smooths out the shape so you don’t have to work with a ton of geometry to get it smooth. Holding loops tell the subdivision surface modifier which parts need to be sharp and which parts must be smooth.

The only way I can think of having it one piece (frame and cylinder) is to bridge some polys that are hidden between the two. Just my idea…if I understood correctly.

thank you so much this helped me a lot, another question not related to this one, can you suggest me some videos or documents to help me learn UV mapping.

thank you so much for your answer and effort to draw this.

this is a creative approach thank you, I can never think something like that , I will try this

I think I misunderstood. You can do this to keep it one piece.
