BTW, such cubes exist, and are totally solvable (I’ve done it myself). You could even get the cube in your image made for you. Other examples, some of which are indeed really, really hard:

Heh heh heh, lol. Yeah, I couldn’t solve the beasties for years. Once I finally learned it was pretty cool.
Before that I used to disassemble and rebuild the cube itself… but apparently people generally swapped the stickers. (Which would explain why so many of my friends’ cubes had their stickers peeling at the edges, lol.)
One time when I was substituting at an elementary school a kid asked for help solving his. I got near the end and realized the cube was unsolvable… turned out his brother has swapped the stickers around.
