So I am uv unwrapping a chess piece, using the uv grid texture for it and I did almost everything with follow active quads, except for the pole of the sphere (the sphere is joined by vertex with the body of the chess piece).
In this case I am using the blender sphere with triangles at the poles, and I really don’t know a good way I could unwrap it. I think of using a cube sphere or even converting all to tris, because its for a game asset, but then it would not be possible to use the follow to active quads I thinks
Please if somebody know how I can do this, tell me, I really apreciate any help
