Unwrapping multiple surfaces to same spot

I have a simple question. How would you unwrap multiplesurfaces to the same area on the texture so they all load the same bit of the texturemap?


It depends. Is your model symetrical? Also, you can adjust the UV islands using G, S,and R keys, just like in the 3D window.

the faces are identical. I was just wondering if there was an automated way to do it

One way to do it, is to create your model as a half, unwrap it, duplicate it, mirror ( flip ) it, and weld it to the first half. btw, mirror flipping inverts the normals for some reason, so you have to do a ctrl N on the mirrored half. That would be for something like a head anyway. If you are doing something different, please explain.
