Unyielding Horizon

Only this seemingly indestructible armor and a sword tall as a mountain remain to tell the story of a warrior that even in death would not yield. Before his remains could become dust a strange root or tendril like tree did grow around his body. In doing so the last position the warrior ever took was frozen in time. Keeping even his armor and sword in place as a remind what took place on this very fields such a long time ago.

I am slowly trying to expand my “art style” onto different subjects but also staying true to the things I want to achieve with my art. Creating surreal colorful places that spark the imagination of those viewing it and maybe even create the desire to explore them.

Also please feel free to tell me about your own interpretation of this piece, love to hear your ideas!

That’s a great work :+1:

I really like the balance with the big and small peoples, the colors used and I’ve noticed that the general colors make the Ukraine flag (is it on purpose ?)

But I have pretty much the same vision as you, of a warrior that would never fall, and in with time, nature will grow with him, on him, and he’ll become some kind of mountain later on the future, but still remaining not entirely defeated…

Anyway, keep going like that :100:

Thank you very much  Yes the colors resemble on purpose the Ukraine flag. Didn’t want to force any message onto the viewer to heavily but still make it very clear.

I think that is a common idea among artist that has been visualized in many different ways and very much like that!

I really, really like the story left by this armor

It makes you think that there was an epic battle in this place in ancient times.

But no one knows about it today

Great piece. I’d like to see a darker/moodier version of this one.
