Updated Character Isn't Reloading

I updated a character file, but it’s not taking the updates in the blender scene. Is there any way to manually refresh the character file?

First: And it is linked not appended?
Second:

  • save and reload or
  • in the outliner if set to Blender File there are on the bottom all references to linked files:
    selectd and right click → Reload
