Urban Decay (WIP)

here’s an early screenshot from my first serious game using blender

i wouldn’t pretend that the characters are that great, but they’ve been created, rigged and textured from scratch, and so far have walk and idle actions. the camera tracks the dude and takes account of collisions

i’m really using this game as a learning exercise, to get to grips with all the main aspects of blender. unfortunately, although there are some good tuts and examples out there, they are few and far between, and i’m finding it a constant struggle to get answers to even quite simple questions (it’s taken me a couple of hours to work out how to make the light bulbs semi-transparent, for instance)

anyway, not quite sure what the gameplay will ultimately consist of, but i expect there’ll be plenty of senseless violence
