Use single colour image with alpha to create face

Is there a way to simply turn a single colour image with an alpha channel into a face(s)? I want to do exactly that with the below image, and then extrude it to make it 3D and then place it a couple of times into a scene. I know I could do it the old fashioned way and trace it, but it seems like such a roundabout way for something that could be surely be automated.

I realise that, since this is just made from text, I could remake it within Blender, but this is something that I’d like to learn for the future too.

Cheers for any help!

Sorry, there is no magic button in Blender to transform an image into 3D objects… Not even in 2D. This is called vectorization and there are specialized softwares for this.

If you don’t want to do it by hand, altho it is quite simple (Lot of copy/paste and straight lines), the only other solution is to use Text objects.

If you don’t want that either, well, I don’t see any other solution…

Fair enough - cheers.
It just seemed like a pretty simple thing that might be automated. I’ll have to do it the more tedious way then.
Thank you.
