Dear Blender users.
I have a question about the Scale node in the Compositor. (Blender Ver.4.4)
Let’s say, the original image is a rectangle shape. (4000 x 3000 pixel)
I set the Format to a 1000 x 1000 pixel square.
And set the Scale node to “Render Size” mode,
then selected “Crop”.
When I press F12 to render, the result is cropped into a square,
but in the Viewer node output in Image Editor,
the image still appears in its rectangle shape.
Is it possible to make it appear as a square in the Viewer as well?
In an earlier version (ver. 4.1), it showed up as a square in the Viewer too,
which made editing easier.
Thanks in advance!
This is more of a hack than an actual solution. It seems if you have the render layer at the correct resolution then just the image over it, that does the trick.

Oh, I didn’t know about that method. That’s really convenient. Thank you for telling me.
