UV mapping not adjusting when mapping in Blender

Hi forum.

I’ve exported my UV map, used my image as a template guide and and added the UI elements (in Adobe Illustrator)
When I import my PNG file in blender, the image doesn’t sit correctly on my mesh. but as seen in Adobe Illustrator the UI are placed precisely where they should be. Now what could I be doing wrong?
Ive tried scaling, moving the UV map around but it wont adjust. one side or the other isnt getting placed as it should be.
