UV Shrinkwrap - transfer UVs between non identical Objects

I want to transfer UVs from one object to another but slight differences in the topology prevent blender from doing so. Is there a way to use the seams and UVs from the good geometry to force to the bad one?

Similar to the shrinkwrap modifier, I wonder if I could overlap the two meshes and project the UVs based on the geometry normals or so?

If the objects overlap and not very different from each other, you might want to look into Data Transfer Modifier.
UV seams are in Edge data, and UV maps are in Face Corner data.

And eventually create a blemd shape to make a closer match of the targeted geometry.

Thanks for your replies. This didn’t work too well, though it did something at least. There was still a good amount of work that needed re-doing for one hand. I ended up baking the new texture to old UVs in order to hold the deadline. Not ideal but as the old UVs are not that efficient.
