Finally a really good addon for the measures in Blender!
All features are amazing and parametrics! Very nice!
I’m architect and your add-on is top-notch!
Great Thanks Antonio!
hi, this looks like a good replacement for measure panel.
measure panel has been removed from 2.75 release.
would you care to submit here: https://developer.blender.org/maniphest/project/3/type/Patch/
would you be happy to develop & maintain this in Blender?
Thanks.
Give me your address and I’ll send some beers your way… they might be a bit stale when they arrive, but you sure deserve them.
Thank you! really. Nice and useful addon
I’m sorry, but only works in viewport. There is a trick: Select camera view, then preview render and take an screenshot (this is what I made for my video)
Hi great addon! thanks!
I have some questions. Is there a posibility to make the units consistent? I mean that some of the units are in cm and some are in meters. eg. it shows 50 cm and 1.15 m.
Is there an option to change the font size or thicknes of all the mesaurments at once ? I mean after creating them.
And one last. Those measurments are interactive when changing in object mode (when you scale an object in object mode). But when you change verts in edit mode you have to get back to object mode to refresh them. It would be super useful to have them interactive in edit mode especially when modeling. I wouldn’t have to use the edge lenght option (which isn’t convinient)
Really Nice! It even supports Unicodes!
BTW, a few ideas:
Allow presision to be set to 0. In some cases, it is enough to only show integers.
Allow customization for the word “Scale”, since we can translate it into the local language, or add more specific note to it.
It would be really nice to see a dynamic measurment possible. I mean, the texts change during mesh animation driven by modifiers, shapekeys, bones etc, thus we can do viewport recording for cool animations (even it cannot be rendered by render engines).
