Haven’t been rendering with blender a lot but today (day of posting) an animation major from my college asked me to help him learn blender by modeling something similar to this reference image:
This was an interesting modeling and rendering exercise, especially trying to find an appealing lighting system that would work with the fully metallic quality of the objects.
All modeled and rendered in Blender with Cycles.
(Evee gave surprisingly ok results here but I stayed with Cycles.)
