I like that blade idea. Kind of a glowy crystal thing, unless I’m looking at it all wrong?

Maybe some transparency would make it more obvious, but transparency and emission together are tough to pull off right. I did something similar with one of my submissions, the oracle. I put emissive objects inside the transparent object to get the effect.
This definitely worked in your case. I’ll try similar approach. Unless it requires Cycles. I avoid Cycles since I’m hoping to do animations one day. Too slow

I did use cycles, but the same method should work with Eevee.
