Here is my first attempt at using Blender’s geometry nodes!
I was impressed by the Venom Punch effect I saw in the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 trailer, and I wondered, “Could I replicate it?” And I think I’m very satisfied with the final result.
Thanks to this project, I’ve learned a lot about this incredible tool with endless potential. I can’t wait to dive back in!
Thanks! Using geometry nodes I instantiated a curve, then created a bit of parameters to have as much stylistic choice as possible, rigged the curve and animated along with the nodes parameters and character.
About the unreal part, i created fxs using niagara and hanpainted textures
