I checked tutorials and searched other threads, but can’t solve my problem. I painted colors in vertex paint mode with VCol Paint selected, but these colors do not appear in object mode. Only the material color is shown in object mode. Any help is greatly appreciated!
try put it in textured mode?
Yes, I can see the vertex paint colors in texture paint mode, but not in object mode, textured. When I export as X-Plane obj (flight simulator object) format, only the material color is shown. I believe that the color has to show in object mode for it to be exported (like the vertex color must be on the same layer/type as the material color)…if that makes any sense.
Try baking the vertex colors to a UV map. I bet that the X-plane format doesn’t support vertex colors. I bet that will help.
