Hello, does anyone have the link to that python script that is like edge slide but for vertices?
Is a script really necessary?
If you send the 3D cursor to the vertice at the other end of the edge you want to slide on, then select the vertice to move and use a scale with the 3D cursor as the center of transformation; repeat as needed and you’ll get vertice sliding for free.
That’s it! Thanks jendrzych.:eyebrowlift: IamInnocent, I would assume that you’d want the script so you can move the vertex around freehand in any direction without having to select a different vertex to scale to each time.
Yes sir! That is a very neat script.
It’s faster to use Active Element and just select a couple of verts and scale instead of using the 3d cursor
