VGal / help needed on open source web virtual gallery project

Hi blenderartists,
I have been working in the last months on a web-based virtual 3D gallery to showcase art or pictures. The idea is to programmatically generate .glb files. The starting point is a text file and folders with images. The virtual halls are navigated with a web browser using Babylon.js. So far it has been a one man show work. All is open source and the galleries are self-hosted.

The very first version has all the rendering done with babylon. That is less realistic and efficient that doing it with blender baked textures, but programmatically generating them in blender is beyond my knowledge. I have some proof of concept with procedural geometry but some python/blender experts will be needed.

If you want to contribute, feel free to contact me or spread the word on better targeted places. The project repository is in (including code and documentation):

Of course, there’s a ton of work still needed on the non-blender side. The process has currently many manual steps. Feel free to help too

Cheers
LB
