This is my first project done while learning Blender, recreating a picture I took a few years ago on Prince Edward Island. Overcast is not the easiest lighting to make a render look good but as a recreation challenge, I am pretty happy with the result.
Final Render, with some comp in Nuke and grading in DaVinci Resolve:
I have tried similar setups, but found out that getting the measurements and angles of the buildings is a nightmare without apps like fspy, which works best in interior settings.
Thanks! Yeah I definitely used fspy to get the camera/perspective, it wasn’t perfectly matching but good enough to block out the main shapes of ground and cabins and work from there.
