So, I’m trying to use blender as a video editor but every time, I try to import a video into the sequence editor, blander crashes. I can’t find any posts about this and I’m not versed in Blender enough to know if maybe it’s something I did but I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this so perhaps it should be a bug to be reported or is it just me.

If you think so you may give info about OS, Blender version… the codec, size of the video, if it does play with a player, your CPU, RAM ?
Well, I went to the support site to report it but apparently, it’s been reported hundreds of times since blender 2.80 came out and to this day it’s still not fixed.
