There is no support channel here for the Video Sequencer so this seems the closest. I’m using 3.6 LTS. I’m using the Video Sequencer to mix voice over audio with compositing.

And I need an audio compressor, limiter and noise gate. This is standard kit for video editing even at the consumer level, and I was astonished that not only can’t I find one in modifiers, but the Sequencer doesn’t appear to use standard audio VST/VST3 addons. This can’t be right. From searches of the past, it appears this has been a requested feature for 11 years.

Am I just missing something? Or is this one of those “We’re done and won’t work on this ever again” features.

Yeah… the sequencer is for combining clips and that’s it. It’s basically non-functional. I’d recommend DaVinci Resolve

Thanks. I use a different editor. I guess it’s still useful for lip sync.
