Videogame character-adding armor

Hello everyone. Im working on videogame character with animations and I got to the stage when I want to add armor and but I don´t know how to get rid of this intersecting part. If you know any good tutorial or you have good explanation on adding stuff like this, I would like to hear it

from the looks of it, your shoulder armor doesn’t quite fit onto your character hence the intersection. If I were you I would move the armor upwards on the Z axis or scale it on the Z axis so that the shoulder doesn’t show through.
