View-Your-Mind mind mapper for Linux

Found a “mind mapper” app for Linux only (unfortunately). http://www.insilmaril.de/vym/

I’ve already started using this to map out ideas, thoughts, concerns, known issues, etc., for a short film project I’m collaborating on. I think most people are like this to some extent, but I tend to think of ideas and concerns in a really scattered and nonlinear way. I’ve been using it for a day and I already feel a lot less scatterbrained.

This is an example, from the website.

This is very useful thanks!

If you work cross platform another good mind mapping tool is Freemind

oh awesome, i didn’t realize this existed. AND it’s in the Ubuntu repositories! thanks!

and it’s even better than VYM
