Hi,
At the beginning of this year, I decided to take a step back and look at my craft with fresh eyes. I went back to the basics and started studying what makes a great image. This remix of my previous project, a villa located in the Azores Islands in Portugal, is the result.

Thank you!
I just asked myself: “Does it look good? Would I see that in top archviz studios, like MIR or Play-Time?”
The conclusion of that gave me a lot to think about and I started to rebuild my whole artistic thinking and the workflow.
Even at the time of doing those stuff, they looked promising when finished. But year(s) later we see those stuff again and we notice how much we missed at that time. Good approach. Improvements are great.
Thanks!
That’s incredible how we’re not suited to honest review of our works. I cannot believe that the final image esthetic was looking like that. I was always feeling something was off in my latest images, but I couldn’t see that clearly.
Technically the scene didn’t change, but the framing, the post-production and more planned lighting have changed everything.
